My name is Jennifer Talbot. Prior to teaching, I served on active duty in the United States Army Signal Corps. I have been teaching since 2006 and have taught in Marshall County, Arab City and Hartselle City. I have a bachelor's degree in Zoology from the University of New Hampshire and a master's degree in Physics Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Alabama. I am a National Board Certified Teacher (<4% of teachers nationwide have accomplished this certificate.) During my teaching career I have taught middle school health, life science and physical science as well as high school physical science, general biology, pre-AP biology, AP biology, honors chemistry, honors physics, AP physics 1 and earth & space science. I have two sons, Colin and Garrett. Colin is a commercial pilot and Garrett is pursuing a master's in special education. When I am not teaching or preparing lessons, I like to travel or catch the sunrise in the middle of Lake Guntersville from my kayak.
