Since I began teaching in 2011, I have had the privilege of teaching all grades between 7th and 12th. Being a part of such a wide array of grade levels has provided me with insight into the development of students all across the secondary spectrum. I love teaching English as it allows for opportunities to discuss a wide range of topics through textual analysis. 

My wife Heather and I have been married since 2010, and we have a son named Riley. In our spare time, we like to work on home improvement projects and travel to new places.

I feel blessed to be a Hartselle Tiger, and I am thankful to be a part of such an awesome team and a great community!
