I graduated from Auburn University in 2002 with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education.  After graduation, I began working in Decatur City Schools at Gordon-Bibb Elementary.  In my time there, I taught 5th, 4th, and 1st grades.  I continued my education at the University of West Alabama to earn a Master's in School Counseling.  I started working for Hartselle City Schools in 2013.  I was the School Counselor for Hartselle Jr. High School, before transferring to Hartselle High in 2023.  Each and every day, I hope to help and serve the students who walk the halls of our schools.  

   My husband, Eddie Groves, is also an educator.  We married in July 2006.  We have two daughters that we love dearly.  Eddie and I are so thankful that our girls are attending Hartselle City Schools.  We believe that Hartselle has one of the best school systems around!
