  • Congratulations to the Hartselle Girls' Basketball Team for winning today and advancing to the AHSAA Northwest Regional Finals on Tuesday, February 19 at Wallace State Community College.

    Students who wish to attend Tuesday's game at WSCC will be allowed to check out to attend the game. The game will be played at 12:30 pm. Admission to the game is $8.00 and parking is $5.00.
    Although the absence will be coded as an excused check-out, it will be changed to a school activity excuse (will not count against attendance) if the following requirements are met.

    1. Students must attend school and check-out at 10:30 am with a written parent note. No phone calls or emails to check-out will be allowed. Students will check-out in front of the auditorium.


    2. Students must attend the basketball game at Wallace State Community College. A ticket stub must be returned to the attendance clerk within three days upon returning to school. The student's first and last name must be written legibly on the ticket. (Electronic tickets must be printed.)

  • The Hartselle High School Choral Department will host a Dessert Theater on Tuesday, February 19 in the HHS Cafeteria. Tickets are $10 at the door, and the event starts at 6:30pm. The program will feature a "royalty" theme, and guests will be treated to musical selections and an array of delicious desserts! Perfect for families, or for those looking for a late Valentines Day treat!

  • Applications are being accepted for the upcoming school year for Peer Tutors. Next year's JUNIORS and SENIORS qualify for this rewarding experience. You can apply online at http://bit.ly/peer1920. If you have any questions, please contact Karen Howell.

  • If you are interested in the Work-based learning/Co-op program you will need to fill out an application. They are available in guidance and in Mrs. Pirtle's room (room 237). Co-op students can have a job or a non-paying internship to qualify.

    Applications are due to Mrs. Pirtle by February 22.

  • Students, be sure you are parking in your space only or face receiving a parking ticket. If someone is parked in your space, move to the visitors parking. Do not park in another students space. Notify Officer Eubanks or the Front Office immediately.

  • Parents/Guardians:  In order to preserve instructional time and limit classroom disruptions, students will not be called from classrooms until you are here to check out your students.  If you know a student will need to be leaving, please send a permission letter with your student listing the student's name, time to check out, reason for leaving, and your contact information.  We will not accept phone calls for checking out students.

    Ticket Prices: HHS SENIORS ONLY - $30.00 each  Ticket price includes 2 parent passes; additional                           passes are $5.00 each

                           All Other Tickets are $60.00 each.

  • All excuses for absences are due within two days of your return to school. Bring parent notes, doctor excuses, college letters, etc. to the office with your advisory teacher's name written on the excuse.
