It is such a pleasure to be back in my hometown and be a part of the school system that poured so much into my life growing up! I am excited to be at Barkley Bridge; this is a wonderful environment in which to teach, learn, and serve my community. 

After graduating from Morgan County High School, I received a degree from Judson College in elementary education. I have been working with children ever since in a variety of ways. My career has consisted of teaching first, second, and fourth grades in three different towns in Alabama. While my children were small, I worked at a church preschool and had a home daycare.

My children and granddaughters are the loves of my life! I try to remember that my students are someone's grandchildren and to treat everyone with respect, kindness and patience. My hobbies are reading, hiking, water-skiing, going to the beach, walking, and working outside.
