Hello! My name is Tisha Bates and this is my 30th year of teaching Physical Education.  I absolutely love teaching PE! I try to include a variety of activities in our program so that we are sure to encourage active lifestyles for our students. I am also the HHS dance team sponsor, as dance has always been a passion of mine! I have been married to Todd Bates for 30 years. We have one son, Davis, who graduated from the University of Alabama and is working for Disney. I enjoy the outdoors, love animals, reading and watching Alabama football.

I graduated from the University of Alabama in 1994 with a BS in Physical Education. I actually graduated, got married and started my first job all in one week's time. One year later, I moved to Hartselle and have been teaching at Barkley Bridge ever since.  I am so excited about the upcoming year and look forward to teaching your children.
