I grew up in a little town in Upstate New York and graduated in 2004. I went to college at Alfred University in Alfred, NY. I majored in Sociology and had a vision of working in social work. However, when I moved to Dallas, TX right after college I started working at a daycare and found that teaching was my passion. I went back to school and received my Masters in Education from Western Governors University. This will be my 5th year teaching (I have previously taught 3rd, 5th, and Pre K). This is my second year at Barkley Bridge and I am very excited to be a part of this wonderful school! There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a child’s reaction when they achieve their goal and how proud they are of themselves. I enjoy being someone that works alongside them and provides the love and support needed along the way.
