My name is Josie Styles, and I am thrilled to be a part of the Barkley Bridge family as a third-grade ELA/Reading teacher. I graduated from Athens State University in May 2018 with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. In June of 2021, I completed my Master's in Elementary Education from the University of West Alabama. In December 2022, I completed my Instructional Leadership certificate from the University of West Alabama. 

I am married to Dan, who teaches at Madison Academy and coaches football as their Defensive Coordinator. Dan and I have three sons: Drew, Garrett, and Will. In September 2021, we welcomed our first granddaughter, Reagan, to the family! On October 12, 2024, we'll be adding a daughter-in-law, Anna, as Will is getting married! My favorite pastimes include cooking, spending time with my growing family, fishing, decorating, and traveling to the beach and mountains.
