My name is Kelly Ward. I am so grateful to be a part of Hartselle City Schools. I have been a teacher for 26 years. I received my Occupational Therapy Assistant degree in 1996 and graduated from Wallace State in Cullman, Alabama. I went back to school in 1999 to become a Special Education Teacher. I graduated from Athens State University with a Bachelor of Science in Special Education K-6 (Collaborative teacher). I received my Master of Arts in Teaching in 2018 through Dallas Baptist University with a Multisensory specialization through Shelton School. I have a son named Hunter. I love being a teacher and witnessing a student overcome challenges and reach their full potential. I believe that building relationships with students, parents, teachers, and administrators is the key to successful learning. I love working at Barkley Bridge Elementary school and look forward to many years in this position.
