Teaching is my vocation.  I knew from a very early age that this was what I was meant to do.  I have been teaching my friends, kids, family, etc. for longer than they would like to remember.  However, I didn’t immediately go to college after high school.  I didn’t go to college until I was 25.  I was already married and had two kids when I finally decided it was time to go to college.  I have personal experience that supports my belief that education is the way to change your life.  I try to share this with my students through my passion and commitment in the classroom.  

When I’m not teaching, my time is spent with my family.  My husband and I have three beautiful daughters.  Our youngest is in third grade here at Barkley Bridge.  I enjoy reading or watching documentaries on Netflix.  I am a sucker for a good underdog sports story or the biography of someone who overcame hardship to be successful.
