Bio

Welcome to my web page! Here is just a little information about myself.

I graduated from Hartselle High in 1996. In the fall of 1996, I began attending the University of North Alabama in Florence.

In the fall of 2001, I transferred to Athens State University. While at Athens State, I worked for Athens First Baptist. I worked with the 4 and 5-year-old preschool classes during the school year and school-age children, 2nd and 3rd grade, during the summer.  I graduated from Athens State University in December 2002. In Fall 2011, three co-workers and I began taking Elementary Education graduate courses. In July 2015, I finished my master’s degree at the University of North Alabama.

I did my student teaching at Barkley Bridge from Aug. ‘02 to Dec. ‘02.  I substituted in 3rd Grade from Dec. '02 until Feb. '03.  In February 2003, I was officially hired as a 3rd grade teacher at Barkley Bridge Elementary. I love BBE, and I love teaching Science and Social Studies! 

Outside of work, I enjoy being outdoors and traveling.  I love the beach, the mountains, camping aka glamping, four-wheeler riding, canoeing, motorcycle riding, running, and hiking. I have traveled a lot of places, but my favorite places are Antigua, Grand Canyon, Maui, Niagara Falls, the Midwest and West regions of the U.S., and New York City.    

Facts about Me:

I got married in June '09 to Sean Goss. He is an engineer for the Army.

On April 5, 2010, Sean and I welcomed our baby boy, Bodie.

On July 25, 2013, Sean and I welcomed our little girl, Kinsleigh.
