I have been teaching at Hartselle Jr. High School since 2006 and have been in education for over 20 years.  I grew up in Hartselle, and I am so thankful my husband (Shawn) and I were able to raise our children in such a wonderful community and school system!  I love playing and watching sports.  On the weekends, you can find me playing tennis or fishing, playing with my dog (Sophie) or baking sweets!

I love being a junior high career tech teacher because it allows me to equip students with essential real-world skills that prepare them for success in their future careers. Watching my students develop confidence and competence as they master these skills is incredibly rewarding.
