Ms. Natalie Johnson
Hello! My name is Natalie Johnson! I recently moved back to my hometown of Madison, Alabama, after living in Troy for 5 years. I graduated from St. John Paul II Catholic High School in 2018 and went on to receive my bachelors degree at Troy University. My bachelors degree is in Secondary Education with a focus on history. I graduated from Troy University in December of 2022 and began teaching the following January. I have a huge passion for history and its related subjects. Nothing makes me happier than bringing knowledge to young minds and teaching them about the world we live in. My favorite era of history would have to be either the Roman Era or the World Wars, but I love every era as well.
I taught 7th and 8th grade Social Studies at Pike County High School for the 2023 Spring semester before moving back to North Alabama. This will be my first year teaching at Hartselle Junior High School and my second year teaching 7th and 8th Grade Social Studies. This year, I am teaching 8th grade World History, 7th Grade Civics, and 7th Grade Geography. Through my classes, I plan to ensure that my students become informed individuals who know about our government, world, and past. I believe this knowledge will bring my students far in life, giving them the information and passion to go on to do great things.
