My childhood dream was to be a teacher.  After teaching 25+ years, I still look forward to school every day. I grew up in this area and my father was an educator.   I watched him impact lives and make a difference.  It is my goal to do the same. I have the best job of all.  I help students find books that they "want" to read and support teachers with resources and technology.

Outside of school, I have an exciting life with my husband, three married children and EIGHT grandchildren.  There is never a dull moment! We have moved 16 times in our 40+ years of marriage and I have taught in six states.  Hartselle has been home for over 20 years, and I would not want to live anywhere else!
