¡Hola! Although this is my fourth year teaching at Hartselle Junior High School, it marks my 23rd year as a Spanish teacher. Before coming to HJHS, I spent 19 years teaching various levels of high school Spanish. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Spanish Education (6th-12th grades) from the University of North Alabama and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of South Alabama. I am blessed to teach in the incredible district my two daughters attend. Michael, my husband of over 17 years, is also an educator and the minister of the Neel Church of Christ. When my husband and I are not teaching, we taxi our daughters to their sports practices and games. I am proud to be a Hartselle Tiger, and I know this will be a phenomenal year!
