I graduated high school "over yonder" in Southaven, MS in 2004. Directly after high school, I spent several years working in the church world-- from Alabama to California and back again. During that time, I earned my degree from Athens State University in English with a minor in Secondary Ed.  

I had the immense honor of teaching the Language and Literature course for IB MYP 9th and 10th graders at THE Central High School in Tuscaloosa for the first three years of my teaching career. Though I will always miss my Central kids, I was so excited to become a Hartselle Tiger in the 2020-2021 school year. 

I so look forward to a great year here at Hartselle Junior High! Go Tigers!
