Bio

I have been happily married for 30 years to my husband, Kent. We have two beautiful children. My daughter, Meagan, graduated from UAH with a Bachelor in Psychology. She is currently pursuing a degree in nursing. My son, Kameron, recently graduated from UAH with a Bachelor in Graphic Design.

I received my Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education and graduated from Athens State in 2009 with honors. I started my journey in Morgan County as a substitute teacher. I then taught Pre-K at Hampton Cove Christian Academy in Huntsville for one year. I was hired as a Pre-K teacher at Barkley Bridge in July 2014. I have always loved teaching young children and am so blessed to work with such an amazing group of children and start them on this journey of life. My greatest satisfaction as a teacher is helping each student to believe he/she is capable of anything, giving them that desire and confidence, and seeing them reach any goal.
