Mrs. Jessica Wimberley
My name is Jessica Wimberley and I love teaching kindergarten! This is my sixteenth year as an elementary school teacher. I have taught in both Alabama and Florida in several grade levels including 6th, 4th, 3rd, 1st and kindergarten. I received both my Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from Jacksonville State University. My undergraduate degree is in Elementary Education and my graduate degree is in Educational Administration. I consider teaching children a blessing and my mission field. I am very thankful that I have been given the opportunity to serve here at Crestline.
I have been married for fourteen years to Chris, who is also a teacher in Hartselle. He teaches P.E. at the Intermediate School, which means my school babies will someday be his, and that is so much fun to experience! Chris and I have four wonderful children. Carter is our 11 year old son who will be starting fifth grade at the Intermediate School this year . Owen is our 7 year old son who is going into second grade at Crestline. Eva Mae is our 4 year old daughter who will be coming to Pre K at Crestline this year. We also have a two year old son, Emmett John, who stays at home with his Mimi (my mother) during the day. We certainly have a very busy home, just how I like it!
My family are all active members of Shiloh Baptist Church, where my father is the pastor. We have the most fun when we are hanging out together, kayaking, hiking, fishing or exploring together. I enjoy reading, cooking, baking and finding unique and delicious restaurants and taking long drives to find them and enjoy special meals.
Working with children is a joy in my life. My hope and prayer is that I can reach each child in my class in a unique and positive way.
