I began my teaching career in 2021, spending four years teaching Middle and High School Social Studies before joining Hartselle Junior High School. In December 2024, I earned my Master of Science in Education, specializing in Special Education Collaborative (K-12), which enhanced my ability to support students with diverse needs.

At Hartselle, I have a variety of responsibilities. As a Special Education teacher, I manage student caseloads, ensuring they receive the necessary accommodations and support to succeed. I also serve as an inclusion teacher in Social Studies classrooms, where I work alongside general education teachers to create an equitable and engaging learning environment.

Beyond my Special Education duties, I oversee the "We Build It Better" program, providing students with hands-on opportunities to explore engineering and manufacturing concepts. I lead the 8th Grade Manufacturing program, known as HJHS Manufacturing Inc., where students gain practical skills and experience in manufacturing and design. Additionally, I coach the HJHS Scholars Bowl team, fostering academic growth and teamwork. I also manage the "Tiger Pride" program, offering tutoring, study aids, and homework help for students on my caseload.

Teaching is my passion, and I am dedicated to fostering growth, inclusion, and success for all my students at Hartselle Junior High School.
