Mrs. Jessica Bankester
Hello! My name is Jessica Bankester, and I love being a SLP at F. E. Burleson Elementary! I am passionate about making big progress to help children communicate. I received my undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Montevallo in 2003, and I received my master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from Auburn in 2005. War Eagle! My favorite things to do in speech therapy include reading books, making crafts, playing games, and doing sensory bins.
I am married to Brad Bankester, and we have two amazing children, Andy and Caroline. They keep us active and laughing! We also have a spoiled and high energy mini-goldendoodle named Miles. My family loves to go to the beach, hike in the mountains, eat tacos and queso, and swim.
