I have taught music in a public school setting since 2002.  While I have taught elementary, middle, and high school, elementary is my favorite.  I taught with the Birmingham Children's Choir for six years while I lived in Birmingham.  I am married and have two children, Lilly and Michael.  I have a Bachelor of Science in Music Education vocal/choral from the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!), as well as Orff Certification. I have also been nominated for a Grammy Music Educator Award twice, which is a national award. I also have my masters in reading specialty from UAH.
