New Student Enrollment
Hartselle City Schools is now enrolling new students for the 2024-2025 school year.
If your child is attending HCS for the first time, you will enroll at our Central Office, which is located at 305 College Street NE, Hartselle, AL 35640.
You MUST BRING the following REQUIRED documents for student enrollment:
- Proof of Residence - Current Utility Bill/Lease Agreement with the address of the residence where parent/guardian and child lives.
- Official Birth Certificate - For proof of child's age and parents' names (hospital records will not be accepted)
- Valid Alabama Immunization Record - Out-of-state Immunization Records may be transferred to an Alabama Immunization Record at the Morgan County Health Dept. (3821 Highway 31 S, Decatur / 256-353-7021) or to a local doctor's office.
- Parent/Legal Guardian Valid Government Issued ID - Driver's License or Passport
- Transcript of Grades - for 1-12 grade - Must have Current Report Card (with grades & attendance) at the time of enrollment; for grades 9-12: Transcript of Classes & Grades
- IF APPLICABLE:
- Divorce/Custody Decree - Final custody decree documentation that has been signed by a judge, or, a DHR Order, stating the name of the physical custodial parent. A notarized document, without a judge's signature, will not be accepted as proof of custody or guardianship.
- Copy of Student's IEP or 504 Plan at the time of enrollment
After approval, you will receive information on how to complete our online student enrollment forms.
Enrollment is not finalized for your student until these forms are completed and submitted.
