Dr. Danna "Dee Dee" Jones
Dr. Dee Dee Jones is the Superintendent for Hartselle City Schools. During her 29 years in education, she has served in many different roles. While working with Decatur City Schools, Dr. Jones served as Curriculum, Professional Development, and Career Tech Supervisor for the system. She also served as principal of Somerville Road Elementary for 6 years. Dr. Jones has been a middle school assistant principal, reading specialist in the middle school and high school, and taught middle school language arts. Currently, she teaches at the University of Alabama-Birmingham as an adjunct professor.
Dr. Jones is married to Joe Thomas Jones, III. She and Joe have been married 27 years and have two daughters—Emsley Peyton Jones, 20, who is a junior at Jacksonville State University and Caroline Olivia Jones, 15, a sophomore at Hartselle High School.
