I was employed as the District Technology Coordinator in March of 1997. My previous work experience in technology was at SCI Systems, Inc. as a Program Administrator, Floor Supervisor, and Technician. I graduated from A.P. Brewer High School in 1981 and obtained an associate's degree in Computer Information Systems from Calhoun Community College in 1983. I served as the Alabama Leaders in Educational Technology Association Vice President of Vendor Relations, Awards Chair, and Nominations Chair.

I have been fortunate to be presented with state and national technology awards:

I have been married to my wife, Tina Diane Stewart, for 40 years. We have two children, Laci and Luke. Laci is a graduate of the University of Alabama and is married to Jeremy Hudson. Laci and Jeremy are the parents of my 2 grandsons, Jackson and Micah  Luke, who is a graduate of Athens State University, and his wife, Bailey, are special education teachers for Hartselle City Schools.

My hobbies include camping, fishing, golf, and Alabama football. I do bleed Crimson and White! Roll Tide!
