Dr. Anna Holland is a proud Hartselle native and 2004 graduate of Hartselle High School, where she competed in softball, volleyball, and basketball. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama in 2008, her Master of Science as a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner from the University of South Alabama in 2012, and most recently her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the University of Alabama. She works full time as a nurse practitioner at Hartselle Family Medicine and teaches graduate nursing courses online at UA.
Anna and her husband George are parents to five children — three daughters currently in Hartselle City Schools at Barkley Bridge Elementary, Hartselle Intermediate, and Hartselle High School, and two adult stepchildren in the workforce. She remains active in the community by coaching youth softball, volleyball, and basketball. Deeply invested in the success of Hartselle students, educators, and families, Dr. Holland hopes to bring a balanced, student-centered perspective to the board — one that values academic excellence, emotional well-being, and equitable support for all programs, from arts to athletics.
Dr. Anna Holland has been a member of the Hartselle City Schools Board of Education since 2025.
