Mrs. Dana McCutcheon
Dana McCutcheon, Vice President
Dana McCutcheon serves as a member of the Hartselle City Board of Education and is deeply committed to supporting students, families, and educators in her district. A 1986 graduate of Hartselle High School , she went on to earn her Bachelor of Arts degree from Athens state University.
Her professional background reflects a lifelong dedication to children and families, including roles as Director of a Mother's Day Out program, floral designer, wedding coordinator, and special needs aide.Through these experiences, Dana has developed a strong foundation in leadership, organization, compassion, and service.
Dana is active in her local church. She is very active in the local arts community, serving on the Board of Directors for College Street Players. She believes strongly in transparency in all decisions that affect children and values spending time in schools, where she enjoys seeing administrators, teachers, and support personnel work daily to improve students' lives.
Above all, Dana considers her greatest joy to be her role as "Sassy" to her six greatest blessings- her grandchildren- who inspire her commitment to education and to building a strong future for the next generation.
Dana has been a member of the Hartselle City Schools Board of Education since 2025.
