
Bruce Wilhite is a 1998 graduate of Hartselle High School, Bruce went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Alabama. He serves as a Captain for Delta Air Lines, retired as a Lieutenant Colonel from the U.S. Air Force, and owns Hometown Property Management LLC. His commitment to the Hartselle community is reflected in his service as Vice Chairman of the Hartselle Downtown Design Review Board, a Court Appointed Special Advocate in Morgan County, and former President of the Hartselle/Morgan County Airport Advisory Board.
Bruce and his wife Sarah are proud parents of three Hartselle High School students, and Sarah has served with the PTO at BBE, HIS, and HJHS. Having benefited from a Hartselle City Schools education himself, he is passionate about giving back to the next generation of students. If elected, he hopes to transparently represent Hartselle families, strengthen communication between the school board and the community, and develop a more robust leadership program for faculty and staff.
Bruce has been a member of the Hartselle City Schools Board of Education since 2025.
