Important Update for Families

As SNAP benefits come to an end and many are still facing the challenges of job furloughs, we understand that these times can be tough. But there’s support available!

Did you know that you can apply for Free & Reduced-Price Meals for your children? 📋✨ This can help provide some relief as you navigate through these challenging times.

🔹 What You Need to Know:

  • You can fill out a Free/Reduced Lunch Form to qualify for assistance at https://www.myschoolapps.com/ or you can request a form from your child's school.
  • This program is here to support families in need, ensuring your children still have access to nutritious meals.
  • The meal purchasing process remains unchanged for all students. Every student—regardless of meal status—will continue to use their student number and proceed through the cafeteria line in the same way. The system automatically applies free or reduced-price meal benefits without any visible difference in the process, ensuring dignity and privacy for all students.
Let’s stay strong and support each other! If you need help with the application, reach out to our Child Nutrition Program office at 256-773-5419.
