017 University of Alabama Robotics Competition

On Saturday, April 8th, students from Hartselle City Schools participated in the 2017 University of Alabama Robotics competition in Tuscaloosa. Sixty teams comprised of elementary, middle school, and high school students competed in the autonomous programming event. UA's robotics competition is unique in the sense that student teams are given three hours to solve three different programming challenges without any assistance from parents or teachers.

Students from Hartselle High's Computer Science Academy finished in 3rd place in the high school division, and students from FE Burleson finished in 3rd place in the elementary division.
