National Technical Honor Society

Hartselle City Schools is pleased to announce the induction of 79 students into the first chapter of the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS). To meet the requirements of this esteemed organization, students must complete at least two years of study in a career pathway program, be a member of a career technical service organization, as well as have an overall grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher and a career academy GPA of 3.75 or higher.

Career pathway programs and career technical service organizations offered at Hartselle High School include Agricultural Academy (FFA), Business Academy (DECA or FBLA), Engineering Academy (TSA), Medical Academy (HOSA), and Teaching Academy (FCCLA and FTA).

The Induction ceremonies were on January 23, 2017, at the Hartselle High School Auditorium.  Lynne Shelton serves as the Advisor and Nanette Edde serves as the Co-Advisor of this organization.
