Hi! I am so excited to be working as a speech-language pathologist in Hartselle City Schools! I am married to Trent Derrick, and we have a son, Lane, who is two, and a German Shepherd named Ace. I love coffee, being outside, and spending time with family and friends.

I received my Bachelor's degree in 2013 and Master's degree in 2015 from Auburn University in Communication Disorders. War Eagle! I have previously worked in a short-term rehabilitation/long-term care facility as well as a pediatric outpatient clinic/pediatric inpatient hospital. I believe that all children deserve the right to be effective communicators. I love to make learning and speech therapy fun. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with your student!
