Hello Everyone!!

I am one of the Counselors at Hartselle Junior High.I am married to Coach Perrin from Hartselle High School and we have three kids; Brooks, Charleigh and Lincoln. Before I became a counselor, I taught 9th and 10th grade History in Birmingham. We moved to Hartselle in 2013 and I taught all subjects to struggling students at Hartselle High School. When my oldest was born, I decided to stay home with them for a little while and then I had two more kids! I was hired to be a school counselor at Hartselle Junior High in 2021 and felt like it was the perfect time to step back into schools once again.I am very passionate about building relationships with students. I believe that every student needs an adult in their life to build up, encourage and point them towards the right direction. I love seeing students work hard and overcome unimaginable circumstances to reach their full potential.
