Welcome to the new school year!  What an exciting year that we have waiting ahead of us! This year is going to be filled with your child discovering many things. I am thrilled to be your child's teacher and look forward to getting to know you and your child. I grew up in Miami, Florida and moved to Alabama to attend college at The University of Alabama. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science and also attended UAB earning a Masters in Educational Leadership.  This will be my 22nd year of teaching in public school. I taught 2,3 multi age and 21 years of 5th grade. I am thrilled to be teaching 4th grade MATH this year!

My husband, Tom, and I live in Decatur and have been 24 married for  years. We have 2 sons: Conner and Ellis. Conner is going to be a Senior at Decatur High, Ellis will be a freshman. Both love playing sports which is where you can usually find us.

I love to travel, read and spend time together as a family.  The BEACH is my HAPPY place! :)
