Bio:

I have been married since 1986 to Shane Russell.  He is also an educator!  He teaches 7th grade Geography at Hartselle Jr High School.  We have two adult children, Brittni Host and Seth Russell. Harper, Caroline, Cooper, and Maddie are the 4 sweetest grandbabies ever!  We love Hartselle and are so thankful that our children have also chosen to make this their home.

Teaching Experience:

I have been teaching since 1993.  I began my career teaching kindergarten while living in Tennessee.  After a couple of years, I moved up to third grade until we moved to Alabama in 1998.  I started out teaching second grade at Falkville Elementary.  I later moved to first grade until I began teaching at Barkley Bridge in 2004. My Barkley Bridge journey began with me teaching second grade.  I later moved to fourth grade and stayed there until I had the opportunity to move back to first grade.  In 2018 I was blessed to become part of the Crestline family teaching kindergarten! I am very familiar with K-4 curriculum and I use that knowledge to help me guide my students to where they need to be.
