The Riley Resource Center is a renovated building with the intent to provide necessary life skills in order to develop students towards independent living. Students who are in the Pre-Transition classroom receive strategies designed to address the diverse learning needs and modifications of students. Reading, writing, math and vocabulary skills are emphasized daily and are adapted to fit skills necessary for independent living. Independent learning needs are supported as well as pre-transition and social skills.

Course work is developed on an individual basis with IEP goals in mind. Coursework, daily activities and routines are all part of the grading process and documentation towards reaching set goals.
