Mrs. Venita Jones
"Delighted and excited are the two words that I would use to describe my feelings about the Hartselle City Schools. We have a growing and gracious community with wonderful and exciting times to be in Hartselle. Being a graduate of the old Morgan County High School, and now having the opportunity to serve on the Board and see all the changes that are taking place in education and the world around us, it is just GREAT to be a Hartselle Tiger!
I am the oldest Board Member and one of the first to be elected in August 2012. I recently retired as the Special Education Director with the Morgan County Schools after over forty-four years. I have a B.S. degree from Judson College in Marion, Alabama; a Master's Degree from the University of North Alabama and Louisiana State University. I attend West Hartselle Baptist Church. My mother was a teacher in the Morgan County and Hartselle City systems for thirty seven years. My daughter is a school administrator and my son-in-law is a teacher and coach. Education is in my blood! I love it and promise you, I want the best for your children and I will do MY BEST to try to help provide that for all of OUR students!"
