Degrees and Certifications:

Mr. Phillip B. Jarmon

Welcome to F.E. Burleson Elementary School!  It is an honor to serve the students, parents, and community of Hartselle City Schools.  With all of us working together toward a common goal of instilling the importance of having great character and raising student achievement, we can help students develop the right attitude and mindset to give it their best.
17 years in education as I have taught various grade levels (Kindergarten, 3rd grade, and 6th grade) and was an Assistant Principal and Principal before joining F.E. Burleson.  As educators, we have the opportunity to unlock the dreams of our students. "Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day.  Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime." We must believe in our children and teach them mistakes are a part of the learning process.  Effort = Success.
My wife, Heather, is a Speech Pathologist for Cullman County Schools. We have been married for 14 years, and I must say she is a wonderful person.  We have two daughters and an English Bulldog named Dolly Parton.
