HHS AP Results!

Congratulations to thirty-eight Hartselle High School Juniors and Seniors who have been
named National AP Scholars due to their success in AP classes at the school and on
national exams.

Four students received AP Scholar with Distinction recognition. These students have an
average score of 3.5 on all AP exams taken and have scored a 3 or higher (equates to six
hours of credit at most colleges and universities) in at least 5 courses. Students achieving
this honor are Julia Matthews, Elizabeth McCutcheon, Lori Milligan, and Zachery
Roberson.

Seven students received AP Scholar with Honor recognition. These students have an
average score of 3.25 on all exams taken and have scored a 3 or higher on 4 or more
exams. Students achieving this honor are Seth Ballew, Hope Cain, Emily Crow, Abigail
Davis, Melissa Ebeling, Thomas McConnell, and Cody Tapscott.

Twenty-seven received the AP Scholar designation. These students scored a 3 or better
on 3 or more AP exams. Students achieving this honor are Weston Baker, Holly
Blankenship, Colin Boggs, Reagan Bowling, Ally Burgess, John Dersham, Hannah Dotson,
Sara Faulk, Matthew Green, Zane Green, Makayla Hayes, Austin Higginbotham, Jayce
Johnson, Hayden Jones, Kayla Key, Samantha Lightle, Rachel McKelvy, Logan Miller, Sarah
Nix, Riley Olague, Thomas Pugh, Madison Slaten, Brady Smith, Anna Stinson, Gabrielle
Stout, Sara Winton, and Mary Jane Wooley.

Students at Hartselle passed 185 AP exams for the 2015-16 school year. That represents
potentially 1,110 college credit hours. This total does not include those students
receiving dual enrollment credit hours.
